Leadership
Nate Walker
Nate Walker is originally from Bellevue, WA, but became a Christian on the island of Western Samoa when he was sixteen. The heavens above the Pacific declared to him glory of God, and the Word of God changed his life. He spent six years in Bellingham doing undergraduate and masters work in mathematics at Western Washington University. After finishing one year of a PhD in mathematics at the University of Washington, the Lord led Nate to pursue a life of ministry, particularly in church planting. Nate completed his Masters of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and moved back to Bellingham in July 2009.
Nate and his wonderful wife Shannon have been married seven years and have five children Lucy, William, Ada, Henry, and Molly. Nate's loves are his family, any sport with a ball, C.S. Lewis, playing music, and most of all the Lord Jesus who has never failed him.
Trevor Mauss
Trevor grew up in Florida, Hawaii, and Washington State. The summer before college he became a Christian. He attended college at Western Washington University and received a degree in History. During that time, he served as a Young Life leader at a local middle school, and shortly after got hitched to his lovely bride Kristen.
After graduating from Western, his sense of call to the ministry grew and he could not ignore it anymore. In 2006, he attended Covenant Theological Seminary. They lived there for a year, loved it, yet felt God calling them back to Bellingham, WA. Now back in Bellingham, Trevor hopes to complete a Masters of Arts in Theology through Covenant's correspondence program. Trevor has been married to his dear wife Kristen for five years and they have a 3-year old daughter named Annabelle, and a young olive shoot named Jack. Trevor loves his family, playing home run derby, reading, laughing, eating, listening to people, and talking about the world.
